Do you live and work within easy walking distance of all your co-workers, clients, and suppliers?

Does The Madhatters Program
Make Sense for You?

Yes, if ...

You're a 21st century business owner. You know you're in it for the long haul because you spend a significant part of every day working to improve your business, realize your creative gifts and talents, and help create a better world for all of us.

You sense that we are at a turning point.
And you know you need to use the Internet to help your clients and coworkers step into a whole new future - and you are right!

Like many savvy business people, you may feel infowhelmed.  Your inbox is exploding and Twitter and Facebook feel more like marauders at the door than helpful "social tools" you could be using to better realize your business potential.

You're still experiencing a confusing and frustrating gap between your plans and the reality of your lived experience. In spite of your best efforts to create a "balanced life," you're feeling frequently exhausted by the number of demands on you. And, at the same time, you know in your heart-of-hearts that things just don't have to be as hard as they seem right now.

You long for more creative, authentic connections with your clients, co-workers, and suppliers - despite many years of working to improve relationships. You're disturbed everyday by the state of our world, yet you also feel powerless to make a difference that would really make a difference.

If you're having any or all of these experiences, the good news is
you're not the only one. Not by a longshot!

In fact, you're just like the rest of the Madhatters!

Most 21st century business owners feel this way in this brave new world. It was certainly how I felt before I started using the latest real-time virtual meeting tools to cut through the "noise" of stale business processes so I could start saving time and money for myself and my clients.

The question is, are you ready to DO something proactive now ...
before your profits and personal savings just shrink out of sight?

What's the truth for you?

As you heard in the video above, every Madhatter will have weekly group coaching sessions throughout the 10-Week Program, as well as one-on-one coaching with Meri.

In addition, Madhatter participants will also be invited to attend an exclusive BONUS VIRTUAL TEA PARTY that Meri will host herself early in November just for the Madhatters.

Think This Sounds Perfect for You? Wonderful!

Only hang on a second... The truth is, The Madhatters Tea Party Group Coaching Program isn't for everyone.

If you took time to watch the video above, I hope it's abundantly clear that I don't  want to discourage anyone from participating. Quite the contrary! It's my sincere desire that every experienced coach and consultant in the English-speaking world enrolls in this program sooner or later. And I want you to learn enough to help everyone else you know make smart use of virtual meetings with you. No kidding!

And...at the same time... I don't want you to enroll in this program one minute before you're ready because I want you to have a wildly successful rapid learning experience when you do.

So, here are the basic qualifications:

1. The Madhatters Group Coaching is designed to serve professional coaches, trainers and consultants - and authors, researchers, journalists, and entrepreneurs who have already developed their own saleable content - i.e., content that you own and have the right to repurpose into one or more new revenue streams.

2. The program assumes that people already have the following basic equipment:

  • A fast, late-model desktop or laptop - PC or Macintosh - with a minimum 17" display, running the latest versions of Windows and/or Mac OS

  • A minimum of 2GB RAM installed in your computer

  • A webcam and a USB headset (or built-in high-quality speakers and microphone, like those embedded in the new big Macs)

  • High-speed WIRED INTERNET ACCESS through cable or high-speed DSL (While wireless access may work for those attending virtual meetings, connection speeds can fluxuate wildly and this is not workable when you're hosting virtual meetings.)

  • A late-model landline telephone equipped with a headset receptacle and a compatible wired or wireless telephone headset (Skype is a wonderful telephone service but it's not sufficent for this program. Cell service MAY be acceptable, depending upon the type of phone you have and the strength of the provider's signal in your area, but we will need to discuss this up front.)

If you do not already have this basic equipment, when you enroll you will need to purchase it right away, set it up, and familiarize yourself fully with how everything works PRIOR to the first meeting.

3. People who will benefit most from the Madhatters program already have blogs or websites and are engaging regularly with audiences who enjoy working with them face-to-face. If both you and your audience realize you all could benefit more from interacting at a distance - sharing sound, video, pictures, documents, and drawing together in real-time - then you're going to LOVE this program!

Past Participants Have Loved The Program

Some past participants have come to the Madhatters Program having delivered their own teleseminars - or having worked with clients remotely using teleconference lines. These folks came looking for a place to adapt and practice working with their material in ways that would add more visually- and physically-engaging activities to their familiar telephone coaching and/or consulting routines. They got all of this and more.

Some past participants were brand-new to working at a distance with clients. But they were ready to make a little time to develop and test a pilot that would give their existing clients (and new customers) opportunities to using voice and video, share documents and still pictures, and draw with them in real-time - without anyone having to drive or fly or rent a room. They got all of this and more.

Some people came with a clear desire to take the sting out of losing the face-to-face connection with their audiences. (After all, people-people get a lot out of being together in person -- especially coaches, trainers and consultants!) These folks discovered it was easier than they ever imagined to make an equally powerful connection with their audiences - in a virtual meeting. And much much more!

Here's What a Few Past Participants Said

About Their Madhatters' Tea Party Experiences

I have recently returned from the rabbit hole with The Virtual Meeting Coach, extraordinaire, Meri Walker. Known as her "Madhatters' Tea Party," Meri’s 10-week coaching group is a great place to learn how to run effective online meetings. Participating in it took me over my wall and into the field of new possibilities to share my work in the world. It has open up access to a huge potential audience while giving me experience with & exposure to online tools I would not have tried otherwise. This 50-something threw her hat over the wall of her resistance and the voices of ‘BOOGA-BOOGA’ in her head and am very glad that I did.

I learned how to run online presentations technically while, at the same time, exploring what it takes to keep one’s audience personally engaged. Yes, how do you do that when you can’t see them? How do you build relationship and engagement in this new mode of meeting? Well, Meri’s model of learn by doing, failing, succeeding - and everything in-between - is a winner.

I highly recommend joining her next round as one of the presenter trainees, aka "a Madhatter!" If you want to take that next step into a 21st century learning experience, and expand your contribution in the world, it’s a fun and wildly educational ride in an authentically supportive learning-by-immersion environment. Take the leap!

I had a lot of concerns about entering the Madhatters program. That I'd be over my head and not able to keep up with using so many different and new online tools while upgrading my hardware and software to meet the requirements. That I wouldn't do a good job putting together an engaging, fresh, informative 25-minute segment. That I'd stumble through the segment, making goofs and looking incompetent and flaky. That I wouldn't find the time to put in the effort to do a good job.

I knew I'd be diving into the deep end and needing to learn fast and I chose that. The prize at the end is much more than worth it. I'm so grateful Meri makes this experience available. The way she keeps her sense of humor through it all helps people lighten up and simplify. I really like the structure of "The Coach's Short List" templates and the way she uses all the online tools while showing us how we can do the same.

The Madhatter's Program was great for my learning curve. In spite of personal and job time constraints, it's proof that when the heart and mind are in the right place, things work. Meri was the perfect coach for me at this time! Her spirit of fun, play, and that its OK to fail help the change become incremental, instead of overwhelming.

I love Meri's accessibility and the amount of practice she's had. It's also fun learning who the other Madhatters are and sharing with one another.

~ Cynthia Winton-Henry, co-founder of Interplay Worldwide, Interplay.org

My main concern about the Madhatters Program was cost/benefit. I didn't think I had the income to do a course like that. Yet, heaven and earth moved a bit and it turned out I did.
Meri's coaching and accessibility proved to be the most valuable to me. The coaching pushed me to do what I need to do to learn and meet deadlines at the same time.

~ Julie Lockhart
, MBA, educator and owner, Editing PLUS

It's been a long time since I've learned something new.
Before I entered the Madhatters Program, I was worried that I'd have to spend a lot of money getting the technology to work. And that I wouldn't have the time to learn it all.

Meri's process is sooo brilliant, I have to say. It put me in a pressure cooker, but surrounded me with loving compatriots. I really got to experience the tennis match of feelings. One moment overwhelmed and anxious, the next happy and curious.

Preparing for and participating in the Virtual Tea Parties had me diving in much more deeply right away than I ever would have by myself. I feel oodles more confident now and can imagine leading these kinds of interactions myself without all the support. (But maaan, was I stressin' beforehand!!)

~ Gretchen Wegner, MEd, educator, academic coach and inventor,
MuseCubes.com

Meri's authenticity, warmth and clear passion for the subject matter would melt even the hardest of hearts of anyone who still wishes they didn't "have to deal with" virtual meetings. Meri's Virtual Tea Party was the first time I've been able to stay on a call (and believe me, I've left many a course on this subject!), trust that I could really learn to enjoy this new culture, and actually look forward to the next sessions!

Integrative Coaching and Counseling, SusanStrasburger.com

I have been incorporating all of the lessons into my work/life and have been surprised about how many opportunities for their use have conveniently occurred just as I learned them.

I appreciate all of the Madhatters for all of the back end work in preparing to present their knowledge and experience. I have had many "NO WAY!!" moments checking out new technology in use. I particularly enjoyed seeing the three-way camera view of the debriefings.

I'm standing up painting to get the body moving. I'm collaborating online with an exhibit partner creating press releases and media kits. I'm exploring ways to make my classroom visits work with DimDim as opposed to Skype for more functionality and clarity of image. Thanks for the seminar!

Thinking the Madhatters' Tea Party

Sounds Just Right for You?!

GREAT!! Again, the program spans 10 weeks, the first four of which will be spent in weekly individual and small-group sessions with Meri and the other Madhatters in your cohort.

As a Madhatter, you will learn to use a number of different types of free virtual meeting tools and to practice the step-by-step system Meri recommends all virtual meeting hosts use to set up and manage virtual meetings - whether you're working with 2 people, 22 people or 222 people. Meri's step-by-step system (distilled from 15 years of meeting with people virtually) is published in her little book, "The Coach's Short List." A copy is included in your enrollment fee.

During the first 4 weeks of the program, you will have 3 individual sessions with Meri and at least 2 online group coaching sessions with the Madhatter cohort. Maybe more. Then, during the 6-Week Virtual Meeting Camp, you will have weekly opportunities to learn-by-doing with up to 60 Virtual Tea Partiers. In addition, starting as soon as you enroll, you will have access to a private learning environment, available only to Madhatters, where you can spend as much time as you like reading articles, following up on annotated links, practicing your virtual meeting skills, and sharing your thoughts with your Madhatter cohort.

And, oh my heavens, so much, much more!

The best part about the 10-Week Group Coaching Program is that it's a steal of a deal for only $897! Why so low? Because we don't want the price to get in the way of anyone who's ready to get going to jumpstart these crucial 21st century skills!
